What I'm Doing Now
(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)
Updated November 6th, 2025 on a train ride through a foggy morning. Fall has fully taken over and the temperature isn't going back up again.
Programming
SFML is still a daily companion and I'm trying to finalize SFML 3.1.0.
To track my time at work, I've written and maintain a Stream Deck plugin for Clockify. Recently even managed to get it published on the official Marketplace. It makes me happy to get emails from all over the world of people using it.
Inherited from a work project, I try to keep Jobbr, a .NET job server, up-to-date. Less because I depend on it and more, because it allows me to experiment with the .NET ecosystem some more. Having recently converted the dashboard from Aurelia to React.
Writing
Writing is something I wish, I'd get to invest more time in, as I love putting my thoughts to paper and sharing it with whoever wants to read it.
I have just published a new blog post:
- Quest for Permissively Licensed PDF Library in C#
- Remove GitHub’s “Ghost” Notifications
- .NET Day Switzerland 2024
- ... (more)
Music
A big hobby of mine is to play my viola, preferrably in a orchestra setting.
Recently, I got to play Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel for the entrance piece at a wedding and the first movement of a Duo by Andreas Lidl.
With the TiFiCo Sinfonie Orchester we're currently rehearsing for the two concerts in January.
Work
Zühlke Engineering AG is a consultancy, so I do work for other customers, mainly using C# and most often with some focus on web development.
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to talk about the projects, I work on.
